Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Famaloo account and the personal data tied to it at any time. Choose whichever option is easier for you.
Delete it yourself in the app
This is the fastest way — the deletion runs immediately.
- Open Famaloo and sign in.
- Tap the menu in the top corner, then Profile & Settings → Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete my account.
Email us to delete your account
Can't sign in, or prefer we handle it? Send an email from the address on your account to:
Use the subject line Account deletion request. We verify the request by replying to the email address on file, then delete the account within 30 days — usually within a few business days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, sign-in credentials, and preferences
- Your membership in any families you're part of
- Medication logs you recorded
- Your entire family and its shared data, if you're the only member
What happens to shared family data
If other people are still in your family, that family continues to exist so they don't lose their shared lists and history. If you were the only admin, Famaloo promotes another member to admin so the family isn't left without one.
What we keep (and why)
We may retain a small amount of information after deletion where the law requires or allows — for example, transactional records for tax and fraud-prevention purposes, and backup copies that are purged on our routine backup-rotation schedule (typically within 30 days). These records are not used for any other purpose.
This action can't be undone
Deletion is permanent. We can't restore a deleted account, so if you just want to step away for a while, you can simply sign out instead.
